“LEAD” is an abbreviation for the project called Learning in Difficult Times. The LEAD method is a pedagogical approach for the continuation of the learning life of individuals despite all kinds of difficulties and extraordinary conditions. According to this pedagogical approach, the learning experience of individuals should not be interrupted no matter what. Measures should be taken to facilitate the learning life of individuals. Information technology can play an effective role in facilitating the learning experiences of individuals. Therefore, the LEAD method is the name of a method that combines pedagogy and learning technology.
Again, the main purpose of the LEAD project is to continue the educational life of individuals under all circumstances. For this purpose, institutions active in adult education from Romania, Sicily, Ireland and Finland, under the coordination of Turkey, came together and developed the LEAD method. With this method, it is aimed to provide facilitating information to the practitioners regarding the continuation of the education life of human communities that have been exposed to natural disasters such as earthquakes, epidemics, fires and floods.
