AISR (The Academy for International Science and Research) has implemented adult educator and teacher training as part of the LEAD project. During these events, AISR disseminated the LEAD Handbook for teachers and adult educators, alongside a Digital Skills Handbook and the Lesson Plans, to equip educators with essential tools and methodologies.

AISR prioritised empowering educators via training on how to use the lesson plans (scenarios), which are focused on ensuring that education can seamlessly transition to online platforms, maintaining accessibility and quality despite difficult times such as earthquakes and other natural disasters. These training events enhanced educators’ digital literacy and strengthened their capacity to adapt teaching methods to dynamic and adverse conditions.

The Kick-off meeting was held on the 28th – 29th of November 2022 at SAKARYA UNIVERSITY, SAKARYA, TURKEY. The LEAD partners convened in Turkey for the project’s kick-off meeting, which was a resounding success. During the meeting, responsibilities were assigned to the partners to ensure efficient collaboration and management of the project. Key timelines were agreed upon, setting the framework for developing the handbook, lesson plans, and dissemination materials. The team also outlined the structure for ongoing coordination, reporting, and quality assurance. This productive meeting established a strong foundation for achieving the project’s goals and fostering effective partnerships.

The second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) was held on 29-30 April 2024 at the Academy for International Science and Research, Letterkenny, Ireland. During the two-day meeting, the partners reviewed the progress of the LEAD project, including presentations on organisational approaches and strategies for maintaining high standards in education. They discussed the project timeline and the need for an extension to complete key deliverables such as the handbook, translations, and dissemination materials. The group outlined deadlines and responsibilities, ensuring the quality of outputs and effective dissemination. Discussions also included leveraging technology in education, planning dissemination events, and creating surveys to assess the project’s impact. Practical details for organising multiplier events were finalised, along with strategies for reporting and ensuring the project’s overall success.
